- Die-in action with the disability rights organization Solidarity Against Disability Discrimination
At 9 a.m. on December 24, 2024, the song “Into the New World” (다시 만난 세계) rang out on the platform of Anguk Station on Seoul Subway Line 3. More than 300 citizens lay down on the platform floor with activists from the organization Solidarity Against Disability Discrimination. "Toward a democracy where people with disabilities can move as citizens!" The die-in action for people with disabilities was no longer only “their business alone.”
Solidarity Against Disability Discrimination (abbr. Jeonjangyeon), who had fought a cold and lonely struggle in the lowest places, was willing to stand in solidarity with other sites of struggle. After Namtaeryeong, Jeonjangyeon and the citizens standing in solidarity continued to Hyehwa Station, where the "Democracy for Dongduk Women's University" rally was held on December 27th.
On April 18, after Yoon's dismissal, a high altitude sit-in began at the bell tower of Hyehwa-dong Catholic Church as a part of the call for Catholic Church to comply with the rights of disabled people to self determination and to end its role in the institutionalization of disabled people, and Jeonjangyeon resumed its subway ride protest on April 21.
